Gilbert M. Carmona - Born in Cuba, Gilbert’s family immigrated to the United States in 1960. After living in Florida, New Jersey, and Illinois, Gilbert moved to Rutherford County and is proud to call the Foothills of North Carolina his home. After attending Isothermal Community College in Spindale, North Carolina, Gilbert transferred to Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. There he received his Bachelor's Degree - Summa Cum Laude 4.0 - with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science.
Gilbert's tax practice was born out of his desire to help people. Many years ago, several friends came to him asking if he could prepare their tax returns and resolve IRS issues they were having. After preparing hundreds of tax returns and assisting in dozens of IRS tax issue resolutions, Gilbert decided to become an Enrolled Agent and elevate his practice to the next level of professionalism.
Gilbert’s desire to help people has not abated. His radio program, “Gilbert Talks Taxes,” was created to inform, educate, and empower taxpayers and business owners. He does this since "Taxation with representation has not been so great either."
Christine E. Carmona - Christine, a native of Savannah Georgia, moved to Rutherford County in 1991. As a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Christine has worked in the construction field for eighteen years as a project manager. She brings that experience to our practice and manages all of our construction trade and general contracting clients. She enjoys being with her family, and it was this joy of being with her family that brought her into the practice to help Gilbert wherever she could. Now, years later, she has developed her own client following, and they depend on her expertise and advice to help them run their businesses. One of the highlights of her day is to come home and spend time with her granddaughter, Monica Rose.
